Wow, I haven't updated in over a month! Sorry about this, but I have just been too stressed to write about anything.

I am stressed about my job...I hate it and my responsibilities are shrinking ever so greatly but the amount of work seems to pile up! I got a raise recently but I'm still not happy. I'd rather leave.

Mmmm, what else happened? Remember Hubby's charity walk last year? Well, his father and sister's hubby were impressed so they did it this year. I was in the support team (again) and it was good. We did the longest shift: 12 hours long. It was tiring but am so glad I got to be there at the finished line as I wasn't there when Hubby finished. :-( Anyway, the team did well, and finished just over 25 hours!

We threw Hubby's brother a birthday tea in the middle of July and had most of the family at our house. It's been a while since we held a family gathering so it was lovely although now I need to get some of these stools as we don't have enough sitting for them:

As you may have heard, Ox*ford was hit with heavy rain recently and some areas were affected. Thankfully, we live on a hill so weren't affected. However, a few main roads were closed and that caused a bit of traffic jam.

Mmmm, what else. Ouh, I have been shopping looooooads. It's very bad. I must stop now and start sewing more. What I bought:
1. yellow nail polish
2. dark blue nail polish
3. Miss Selfridge long, 'heart' necklace
4. Miss Selfridge 'ribbon' necklace
5. brown tunic (which I will shrink as it's big)
6. Gap cream trousers (which I have shortened)
7. white belt
8. orange top
9. brown skirt with metal belt
10. black cropped cardi
11. white long-sleeved t-shirt x2
12. Miss Sixty khaki glitter top
13. dark blue patterned shirt
14. green cardi
15. long denim skirt
16. white eyelet shirt (which I have shortened)
17. green top (needs to be shortened or shrunk)
18. and this. I feel really bad about this 'cos I have yet to wear them but I'm already hating them *sighs*
I'm sure I've bought more but can't think of them. I'm bad aren't I? I still want more things: a glitter top and a top I saw at Gap :-(

By the way, we're off to Geneva next weekend and we will be in M'sia for raya!!!
