LAST weekend, we made a last minute trip to Corn*wall as Hubby's mother was missing him, I think. So, on Friday evening, after a tiring day in London (for work unfortunately), we headed off.

On Saturday, we went to Me*va*gis*sey for the day, a lovely harbour village. Walked around, ate some cornish pasties and TONS of ice cream...it was hot! On the way there, we stopped over at Treffry viaduct:

I love viaduct! I am so bessoted by them, particularly because we don't have any in Msia and they are simply magnificent. This one is disused so we could actually walk on it!:

Below it, is a little man-made stream (leet), that reminded me so much of Bridge to Terabethia :-P (can you see the rope??):

On Sunday, we participated in a charity walk in a Cardinham Woods!:

It was a last minute decision but I'm glad I did it, got the certificate to prove it!:

There was a picnic, with a jazz band, and juicy beef burgers and tasty cakes!:

It was only a 4-mile walk but it was quite tiring as it was blimming hot...I'm so tanned now!! But would love to go back again.

Later in the afternoon, we had a nice dinner out in the garden. We started off with cream tea and THEN the main course, lemon sole! Yumm:

We gave Hubby's mom her belated birthday presents: swedish tea cakes, french petite perfume bottle and the latest Jamie Oliver cookbook. We are also going to get her a 'mesin pembuat roti' later (in Malay in case she reads this!!)

Oh I managed to do some shopping :-P Two two-in-one (layared) shirts for work, a tunic-dress and a blue top.

THIS weekend, we went to Mil*lets Farm yesterday to get some herby plants (terragon, sage, thyme, rosemary, basil and also asparagus) and some organic food (yellow and orange peppers, lamb sausages, pembroke potatoes and coffee & walnut cake (my fave cake!)). Later we had lunch at a nearby pub. In the evening, we watched the latest Pirates of the Carribean and my god, how boring!! :-P

Today, we did some cooking: lamb sausages with mashed potatoes (and potato waffles for bro-in-law) and grilled green peppers. Also had some ice cream and hubby and bro ate eton's mess.

We've just fnished doing some gardening...cut the grass, planted the herbs and got rid of weeds. I'm so tired. We're now watching F1 on tv...
