We went to Cornwall in the weekend. It was Hubby's father's birthday on Saturday. We left on Friday night, after work so didn't get there till 1am.

But we managed to get a Sponge*bob birthday cake (he's a big fan of the show) and surprised him with it upon arriving. He looked really touched.

On Saturday, we went for a 2.5-hour walk in the woods (as dad-in-law is taking part in the 100km charity walk which Hubby did last year). The views were amazing, wished I had taken some pictures! Most of the time, we were walking on a cliff which overlooked the river, argh it was heaven! But I was absolutely knackered as had to walk faster than usual to keep up with Hubby and dad-in-law!

Later that night, we watched a movie starring Nicholas Cage called The Weatherman. It was ironic that we watched the show on Dad's birthday as it had Sponge*bob in it lol. He was definitely meant to watch it on his birthday lol. Seems like his birthday was quite a Sponge*bob themed birthday lol.

Yesterday, we went to Pads*tow for some sightseeing and got the obligatory cornish pasties. We then went to a field and flew Gre*g's little plane which we got him for his birthday last year. It's a dinky lil plane and wasn't meant to last long so just after a few tries, it got cellotaped countless of times :-P In the end, it got stuck on a high tree so we left it there :-P

Got back really late (2 am) but watched a movie called The Jacket. It reminded me so much of the Butterfly Effect. It was good but a bit disturbing.

Even though Hubby came back from his week of training in London last Friday evening, we haven't been able to spend time together. I've just found out from him today that he will be in Edinburgh on Wednesday and Thursday this week for work so will miss him again :-( But Edinburgh!! I wish I could go with him!! :-D

P.S: My sis and dad-in-law (and sister's hubby!) share the same birthday. But it was too late for me to send her a present so bought Parkson vouchers online. But when oh when are they going to post them?!!
