Argh I can't sleep. So now's the best time to update this lil diary of mine.

A couple of weeks ago, there was a special fire show on Broad Street. There were pots of fire everywhere on the street. Sphere of fire, giant lantern hanging in the air, water fountain generated by fire, and more. It was so lovely to see an Oxford Street like it was.

Today (or rather yesterday), was our 7th wedding anniversary! We got a sweet card from Hubby's parents, with a copper leaf (copper being the 7th anniversary's 'sign'). During the day we went to a scenic Cotswold village, Bi*bury and had a quick lunch at the Fishers in Bot*ley. In the evening, we treated ourselves to a three-course dinner at Le*mon*tree on Wood*stock Ro*ad.

I can't sleep because I'm troubled by modern day problems which I'm sure you have or have had to deal with: house buying, career change and debts. When oh when will I escape from them?

On a plus side, I have finally opened an ISA. Our habit of budgeting and saving whatever's left at the end of the month is working well at the moment. It's tax free and hopefully, I can put an amount in there and just forget about it until I desperately need it. Maybe next year I can start playing around with shares?? :-P
