I'd better write about my Christmas before I forget what went on! It was a good one, it was just the two of us for Christmas lunch...there were some silly family politics about where we should all have it , so we decided to avoid drama and have it by ourselves. And it was great! :-P

We made roast chicken and lamb with roast potatoes, parsnips, peppers, and boiled brussels sprouts and carrots. It took bloody ages but we enjoyed cooking together.

Hubby gave me a cool brolly, a tiny set of drawers for my knick knacks, a camisole and panties, Crabtree & Evelyn's rose toiletries, a rose perfume, cat soap that grows hair as you use it (lol), cute keyring charms and best of all, a green vintage phone!! The one with a rotary dial and bells! It now sits proudly in my living room :-D

I gave him a nice wooden Go gameboard and glass pieces for it, a rock polishing machine (his new hobby), juggling clubs, a wooden cat puzzle figurine thingy, a bizzare pen (or pens, I guess) and a card game called Rat-a-tat-cat.

We got tons of stuff from our secret santa (among other things, Hello Kitty items!!) and parents-in-law. I think the best is Harlan's from his secret santa, a Guitar Hero guitar for the PS2 game!! We've been playing it almost every night.

Hubby's parents didn't arrive till New Year's eve. I sooooo wanted to go out and do something but Hubby wasn't having any of it :-(

It's a month before we leave for Malaysia. Can't believe we've just been to Rome and soon we'll be off again.
