Selamat Hari Raya everyone! I bet you guys had tons of fun ey?

It was a good day for me. I was very homesick the night before but after talking to my family on Raya day, and knowing that all of them were there made my day. I hate it when it's just my parents and two of my brothers (there are six of us), as it makes me feel sad all day over here, knowing that it's not as joyous as it's supposed to be :-(

Hubby and I took the Tuesday off, so we went to the city centre and ate tons of dimsum (the nearest I could get to Malaysian food!), hubby shopped TONS and to end the day, we had nice thick, Italian hot chocolate at Carluccio's.

We had planned to see a play in the evening, but we were so tired, we did it the following night (last night.) It was a play called A Number, by Caryl Churchill. It was our first visit to the Burton Taylor theatre and it was veeeeery tiny, a 50-seater, overall size is about four times the size of a typical bedroom. The play was 'interesting.' :-P I wished it was a book, not a proper play that she had written, as it's a very interesting subject and a bit sci-fi-ish (it's about human cloning). Unfortunately, both of us had long, tiring day at work, so we almost dozed off! Later we had hot chocolate at New Orleans and got some fruits (Hubby's been craving for some peaches!) and took a taxi home.

By the way, I am soooo in love with a jacket from Hobbs and since Hubby just got his bonus, he's going to get it for me. I am soooo happy, but it costs a lot of money, so at the same time, I'm feeling DEAD guilty....errrk.

P.S: We managed to put away a reasonable amount of £££ into our savings account this month from our budget plan, woohoo!
