I am soooo sorry for the lack of updates. I have been so unmotivated to write anything, and it seems that's the same case for most of my fave bloggers.

Lemme see....Oooh! For the past few weeks, Hubby and I decided we'd go on a £100-a-week budget! And so far, we have failed. But not too bad, we've been spending about £20-30 more each week. Why are we doing this? Well, we realised that, after paying bills and mortgage, we have quite a big amount of disposable income, but every month, we found ourselves getting overdrawn.

On the first month into this budget thing, we managed to NOT be overdrawn! Woohoo, success! Although we didn't save tons of money, this was still good news because the last time we weren't overdrawn was....I can't even remember, it was just soooo long ago :-P

Although it's been tough (no longer we have three-course-meals and daily taxi trips), I am so proud that I spend less on internet shopping, especially on fabrics and vintage sewing patterns. And instead of taxis or buses, we have been walking to town every weekend, which is three miles away, so we've been feeling quite fit. :-D

Mmm, what else? We have been s l o w l y doing up the house. Unfortunately, we seem to like starting new jobs....and that's it! We've half-finished painting the shed, half-finished painting the kitchen, half-finished resurfacing and painting the banisters and half-finished taking the wallpapers and painting the bathroom walls. Our place looks like a tip :-(
