We got back from Malaysia yesterday afternoon. We had a great time as usual:

Stayed at Le Meridien for three nights but caught food poisoning on the last night! Had to extend another night to recuperate, haha. Had a torturous foot massage at the spa but Hubby enjoyed it so much, he had it twice.

Went to Suzie's second wedding kenduri! Both of us enjoyed it and she looked radiant!

Went to Pangkor Island and stayed at Pangkor Island Beach Resort. Took my mom, and two of my brothers. Got sunburnt playing in the sea (Hubby got it reeeeally bad), and hired bikes and we cycled around the resort (my first in 15 years! Didn't think I could do it but I guess it's true what they say: you can never forget how to ride a bike). Food was good although so many lalat!. Laid down on the beach in the evenings, listening to the waves, looking at the stars and watching crabs going into the sea.

Spent most of the time in my hometown, Ipoh. Didn't do much shopping, but got myself three tops and some instant food. Had steamboat meals, went to pasar malam,, went to the cinemas (less than a quid for a ticket!!!) and visited my uncles and aunts.

My grandma who's 86 is going for Umrah in a week's time with my uncle. Just found out one of my uncles has been a judge on Akademi Fantasia for a couple of years now. And I still haven't seen it, argh!! Spent more time with my sister and her son, and he is getting cuter by the day. Soooo cute but still can't talk at two and half years of age, hehe. One of my borthers just passed his driving test so he took us to everywhere we wanted to go, hehe. And we didn't need to feel bad 'cos he was just so excited on being able to drive, awww.

I am sad that my holiday is over, and having to go back to work tomorrow *sighs* But we will go back again in six months time, for the Chinese New Year woohoo. Oh, I gained TWO kilos in just two weeks argh! I'm just a sucker for Msian food lol.

On a sad note, however, when we got home, we found out that one of my parents-in-laws cats died last week at the age of 13 years :-( He was my most favourite cat and I shall miss him.
