Cornwall

Last weekend we went to Cornwall and stayed with the in-laws. Hubby (who hasn't taken his driving test yet) drove there and back in Gr*eg's car! I was so proud of him!!

We went on the A-roads and it only took him half an hour more each way, without using the motorway at all. I can't wait for him to drive me around places! Especially since Ikea has just opened in Milton Keynes :-D

I didn't do much in Cornwall although Hubby went on a 22-mile-walk with his brother-in-law. His feet are still sore from it but next monday he's going to do another long walk, poor guy :-(

During that time, I also had a bit of a walk with the in-laws although it was only a 1-mile track :-) Then we had lunch at a pub and there was this huuuuuge dog resting near us. Although he was huge, he looked really cute and harmless. Reminded us of the dogs in Harry Potter.

On Sunday we went to Constantine Bay with his brother, sister and her husband and two sons. We walked on the hills, and had ice cream at a nearby cafe.

I managed to do a spot of shopping! Got myself a green top, black linen skirt, and a red polka dot top from Peacocks.

Ouh, and how could I almost forget the music competiton tv show, Eurovision on Saturday night. We had a barbeque and ate whilst watching the show. I sooo wanted Lithuania to win, they were so funny! UK entry was embarassing but I was warming up to its catchy chorus.

I'm taking tomorrow and Friday off because Hubby is on a training course this week in London. I've been having trouble sleeping without him :-( Lame huh?

But I'm seeing him tonight, can't wait! Oh, can't wait to go shopping at H&M and Mango. it's so lame that Oxford doesn't have these shops! Grrr.
