It was my birthday on Wednesday :-D On Monday, I sneakily asked the Master just before he went to New York for that day off, hehe.

That night, Hubby baked me a cake!!

It was supposed to be a surprise but even with me being barred from the kitchen I could smell the cake when it was cooking in the oven. I love it, the best chocolate cake I've had in ages!!

After making a wish and blowing the candles, he presented me with pressies! I have some time now, so will be a bit more illustrative(??):

He put some Thornton's Diplomat chocs in there, my fave from that shop.

A gorgoues limoges envelope-like compact mirror. This is sooooo lovely in real life:

My very own Spongebob Square Pants! We saw it at last weekend's French market. Feel bad for telling him I liked it, it cost way too much for a bath sponge, I think it was like £15 :-(:

A great notebook and a dinky mechanical pencil he got from one of those expensive stationary shops, but he has to exchange the book this weekend cos he got me the wrong one I said I liked.

The next day, today on my day off, whislt on the phone with my mom, I got a knock on the door and it was a man with a big boquet of flowers. It was from Hubby, thank you, I love them :-D

One of Hubby's sisters came round yesterday to give me a present (nice lovely decorated big box, weird I know, but it's a great box!) and another sister came round during lunchtime and gave me this:

I saw it at M&S and told Hubby I wanted it but he got her to get it instead.

Got a call from my sister and my mom told one of my brothers to email me to wish happy birthday. They hardly ever remember my birthday so this was a huge thing to me :-)

So overall, I've had a great birthday with cool pressies. I made myself nasi lemak today and tonight will make chicken curry (instant la). Haven't had Msian food since we came back from there.

Ouh, there's more this weekend! Something to do with all day spa, heheheh.

Only one downside to all this fun: I'm 28 :-(
