I had my first week at work and it was good. A bit uncomfortable because I had to be introduced to people all the time and you know the deal, have to smile, say 'hello, nice to meet you', etc and ask questions, even when you knew the answers.

Seems like my 'department' is the busiest and we deal with alumnis who are ultra rich and get to go to functions although I'm not always invited as I am only managing the paperwork. I am at the backend of things, which is great, cos I can join in the fun but not be responsible for much :-)

I get free meals and work in a 200-year-old building. Last week it snowed regularly in the afternoon, and I felt like I was at Hogwarts during winter time :-)

My work deals a lot with the Master of the college, which impresses my dad-in-law, not sure why. The man speaks very posh English and has a good sense of humour although he tries his best to hide it.

Anyway, I have been shopping a lot because I realise that my wardrobe is too casual. I don't see anyone wearing trainers or jeans so been wearing my leather boots and pressed trousers. I don't feel comfortable but Hubby thinks I look sexier. Well, if he's happy, I'm happy ;-)
