OK, so Hubby's birthday weekend. It fell on a Sunday, and on Saturday, I got him a PS2. I gave it to him a day earlier because the other present I got him was a pair of tickets to the Blue Man Show in London.

We loved it! It was unusual, wild and crazy. I can't really explain it to you, you'd have to see it yourself. We had tons of fun.

What made my day was having my picture taken with one of the 3 Blue Man after the show:

Yeah, I know, I look weird in there! I was too happy ok?! Before that, we had lunch at a really nice place in Convent Garden. Unfortunaltey, I forgot the name :-( I'd love to go there again. They do Italian stuff. The inside was small and cave-like. But we sat outside. I forgot how lovely Convent Garden was.

When we got home in the early evening, I let him play on the PS2, cos I had to prepare for the second interview :-(

I still can't believe I've got a job!!! The friends I've made at the University Offices have been really nice and taken me out for lunches to celebrate. I want to repay their kindness and support by doing the same next week. Met up with a former collegue at Que Pasa and she was very pleased for me too.

I wrote here recently how I was missing home, and feeling depressed since been back from Malaysia. Well, it's changed now, a bit. I feel that I have a purpose now, for living in England. And I know I will feel less 'lost' when we sell this house and move into a new one, the one which we will choose TOGETHER and not the one his parents forced us to buy. And when Hubby gets his licence, so we feel more free. I told him I will stop smoking as soon as he gets the licence. It's amazing how fast he booked more driving lessons! :-)
