myzephyr's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Surprise arrivalDate: Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005 Time:5:42 p.m. Hi! Loads of things have happened. First of all, my sister told us the wrong day and time my parents would arrive in England! Sooooo, imagine how surprise we were when we heard a knock on the door at 11pm on a Friday night, ONE day before they were to arrive! I really pity them! Apparently, they waited for us to greet them at the airport for 2.5 hours before they realised that we weren't going to come. Luckily, they still remember where to catch the coach to Oxford and got a taxi from the bus station to our house! Anyway, prior to their arrival, we had been busy renovating the back garden. Dad-in-law spent a week getting rid of our garden shed, the toilet in the utility shed, cementing pathway and loooooads of other stuff. We even had a skip!
