Oh my god, one of my friends has shingles! It's like chicken pox but worse, and rarer. Apparently she got it due to overworking and stress, poor girl. Hope she gets better!!

This weekend has been family heavy. On Saturday, Hubby's youngest sister and her boyfriend came over from Bristol to stay. We all went to a family gathering held at a community centre. There were loads of food and one of my sister-in-laws' boyfriend's band was there and we got to hear her sing! It's next to a beautiful park with lakes so we took a walk there a few times.Ouh, Hubby's parents came back from a 3-week holiday in India that day so it was nice seeing them.

Today (Sunday), we went to another sister-in-law's house for a birthday barbeque for Hubby's brother. There was a big, inflatable pool and I would have got in it if I had brought my swimsuit....grrr. It was HOT today. I hate it! I got lovely stuff my parents-in-law, they got them in India and I'm soooo touched.

As for job-hunting, I got a letter from one of the companies saying that they have found someone for the job:-( I have a meeting with a recruitment agency tomorrow but I realised I couldn't bring my passport as they asked because I sent it off to get a provisional licence yesterday:-(

So, yeah, I'm going to be learning to drive very soon!
