Got back from the cruise trip last night! Was NOT the best holiday I've been on, :-) But we did manage to rest a lot and catch up on our readings (mine: Bill Bryson's Mother Tongue, Hubby's: Terry Pratchett's Guards! Guards!)

It didn't start off well, due to bad weather, the ship didn't arrive till 3 hours later!! And boarding took aaaaages. And when we came back, it was an hour late so we missed our train!

We weren't seasick but there were a few times when the ship was reeeeeeally rocky and all we could do was to lie down, and be lullabied by the waves.

I enjoyed the food but Hubby was not too pleased, but he is the fussiest man I know when it comes to food.

Watched Sin City on the ship and suprisingly....I liked it! Didn't get to see the swimming pools but I felt fat so didn't mind :-)

Mmm, what else? Ah, Bilbao, Spain! I was at first gutted that not enough people signed up for the Guggenheim Museum tour (had to have a min. of 20 ppl signed up in order to go there by the ship's coach) But we got on this other coach tour, and once we were in the city center, we walked to the museum.

I loved it! Bilbao is not the prettiest place to be (but it's getting there). But I loved the fact that it's open spaced and and walking to the Guggenheim was lovely.

We took loads of pics of the museum but couldn't do so inside. Which is a shame as there were some weird installations there! I am so, so, so, so, so, so glad that I've finally been to the Guggenheim.

Oh, on the ship, there were soooo many obese, middle aged people there. Loud ones, urgh. And a few groups of loud, laddish men. Managed to get a carton of ciggies for £20 and chocolates (of course) for Hubby.
