Cornwall, shopping & lost and found friend.Date: Monday, Jun. 13, 2005

We went to Cornwall for the weekend to see Hubby's parents. It was a last-minute plan with his brother, but great nonetheless (I hate unplanned things).
We went to a couple of beaches, had dinner at Bedruthan Steps, and took a walk on the cliffs....heaven!!!
Went to Padstow of course, and had Cornish pasties, ice creams, and couldn't leave without tasting Rick Stein's fish and chips. It was delicious and looked sooooo much healthier than the normal ones. But cost £7(!!) each and although we ate in the cafe, it was served in a box? :-(
I bought a miniature ship toy for our fish, Wendy:-) Speaking of shopping, hehehe....I bought a light green scoop-neck, a black square-neck t-shirts , a cute white top with rainbow coloured neckband and a cardi with a zipper because I forgot to bring my blazer. I am also sooooo pleased that I finally managed to get Hubby to buy a summer jacket! He had to buy one because he forgot to bring his coat. He is sooooo lazy when it comes to clothes shopping!
Ouh, on another shopping note, I got myself a cute Hello Kitty watch thingy that you clip on your bag! Also a Hello Kitty mobile phone dangly thingy and fabric (background):
They are not authentic Hello Kitty but I don't care. Can't wait to make a skirt from the fabric!
OUH! I FINALLY got in touch with my bestfriend at MRSM! She is an architecht now! I spoke to her on the phone and it felt like we'd never lost contact. We had actually lost contact for TEN years:( It felt just like when Suzie and I found each other a few years ago! Sooo glad to hear from you Alis!!
Oh yeah, it's time for another holiday, and we have booked a mini-cruise to Billbao, Spain!! I reeeeally want to go to the Guggenheim Museum. I have never been on a cruise so can't wait!!! The ship we'll be on has 4 restaurants, 2 cinemas (!!), 3 bars and a swimming pool. Wonder if it will feel like I'm on a Love Boat?
