We'll miss you, Wilma!
Date: Sunday, Jun. 05, 2005
Time:6:54 p.m.

One of my fish, Wilma died yesterday:( We only got her 2 months ago so that our other fish, Wendy wouldn't be alone. We buried her in the back garden.

I cried when Hubby showed her to me. I've never actually experienced death before. I know it was just a fish, but it had a life. The only other deaths I've known were my step-uncle and my sister's Australian husband. I was sad but didn't cry because I found out only much later, over the phone. It was more of a shock that's all.

On a cheerier note, Hubby and I went to possibly one of the best plays we've ever been to yesterday! It was Orpheus in the Underworld, by Oxford Uni. There's a funny reason why we went to see it and not any other plays.

We went there simply because the producer of the play bidded and won a twinset from me on Ebay:) She told me it's for the play and of course I was curious:) It was worn by Orpheus in the first scene, and when I saw it, I said to Hubby, "That's my twinset! Look! LOOK, Loooook!" Hehe.

The theatre is opposite the Ashmolen Museum and we went there for a few minutes. I love museums! Whenever I'm there, I always forget that there's actual life going on outside the museum. I don't know why.

On employment, well, I went to a temping agency last week and it was awful:( I was ill and had a bad throat, and when I spoke to the lady, she could hardly hear me and whenever I raised my voice, my voice wavered as if I was nervous when I wasn't! Damn. And I didn't bring the documents she asked for. So I have to go there again and repeat the whoooooooole boring and degrading process of long winded form-filling and interview.

Also, because I was ill, I missed the opportunity to get £30 for answering some stupid tests for an employment agency at uni. I know £30 is nothing, but it was almost a free giveaway, and I'm always up for freebies. Tsk, I could have used it to pay my libarary fine.

I have been busy sewing again and putting my clothes on Ebay. I won't get much money, and I don't really care but I'm really keen on sewing.
