myzephyr's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Birthday girl!Date: Wednesday, Mar. 30, 2005 Time:3:03 p.m. Happy Brithday to me! Yesterday was an awful day for a birthday:( It was raining non-stop, it's still raining even! I got treated to a scrumptious breakfast in bed by Hubby:) We got a visit from one of Hubby's sisters and her kid in the afternoon and she gave me a recipe box! Hmmm, I remember when I used to get condoms and wine for birthdays when I was younger, now I get a recipe box:) Hubby also got a belated pressie from her, loads of huge drinking glasses, something we've been wanting to get for ages. In the evening, we went to have dinner at a chinese restaurant. The last time we went to a proper chinese restaurant (i.e. rude waiters, sticky menus, and no knives whatsoever) was a year ago. Ever since Hubby got food poisoning from eating prawns from a chinese takeaway, he's been a bit wary of chinese food ever since. Let me just remind you though that chinese takeaway is way greasier and taste average. I got pressies from Hubby and his family: a chinese mug, a tea warmer, a novel, satsuma shower gel and body scrub gloves, writing papers, hear rate watch monitor, mirrors mobile, Hello Kitty shower radio and purse, a box of dark chocolates, tabletop marbled lighter and ashtray, and a goldfish!! I've always wanted a goldfish and Hubby was so lovely...he decorated the fishbowl with pink gravel, colored stones, a pyramid and some fake plants!! Unfortunately at the moment, the fish looks very depressed:( I'm scared it might die... I can't believe this but Hubby also got me a pair of nipple tassels!!! I think it was a revenge gift for the giraffe penis glove I have him a few years ago:) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
