Look at what I got from my mom in the post:

Anak patung kertas (paper dolls)! When I was in Ipoh in Dec/Jan, my main aim was to get all the paper dolls I could find. But I couldn't find any!

Until I was 8, I was so into them:) I had my dad's Benson & Hedges long tin box full of them. I've been looking for them in UK but they look different:(

I'm soooo happy! Silly isn't it...I'm happy over some naff paper dolls, hehe. PEOPLE! If you find any, please post them to me! My mom also gave me another sheet but it's a lame Kim Possible...

Anyway, Easter holidays is in 3 weeks and we are going to Bruges, Belgium for a few days to celebrate our FIFTH wedding anniversary! Can't believe it. Hubby and I still feel like we've only beeen married for like 3 years??

Apparently Bruges is the 'venice of the north'. We'll see!

By the way, I don't know about you but Hubby and I have this habit of keeping all the copper coins we have (1 and 2 pence). Now we have loads of them and we couldn't be arsed to take them to the bank because you have to seperate them into one pounds and put them in a teeny plastic bag. That would be tedious since we have hundreds of pounds worth.

Soooo, what we do now is, we bring some everytime we go to Sainsbury's (a supermarket) and there, there is a coin machine! Basically, you put in all your coins and it gives you notes!!! It takes 7% from the total but it's better than the coins collecting dust at home or worse, seperating them into those plastic bags AND carrying them all the way to the bank...they're h.e.a.v.y. So, next time you get some copper change, just put them in a box at home and when it's filled up, just take them to the coin machine:) I can't believe I used to bin them!!!

By the way, I'm on another nostalgic trip...do you remember the 1985 movie starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Helen Hunt in Girls Just Wanna Have Fun?? Well, I finally got a dvd of it and watched it last night! I think I was 9-10 when I first watched it....I love it!

Ouh Happy Belated Birthday to Suzie!
