myzephyr's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Birthday boy!Date: Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005 Time:1:50 p.m. Happy Chinese New Year everyone. I know it's a bit late, but here it's not that known, so I actually found out a day later! Today is Hubby's birthday! He is 31 hehe. He has this tradition where you actually celebrate it when the clock strikes 12 midnight! So, that's when the gifts are given (this tradition only applies to me of course). So, I got him a reeeeeally nice passionfruit cake from the poshest pattisserie I could find in Oxford, www.maisonblanc.co.uk. It was so pretty I couldn't put 31 candles on it, it'd have ruined it! I gave him some pressies; a rock tumbling kit, 2 Dicsworld books, a huge DVD case/album, a new CPU and a little cheesecake from Maison Blanc. Basically I got him what he put on his birthday list:) I don't know what we're doing today...it's his birthday so his choice! It's really crappy though, cos NONE of his family is around. One sis and her family are visiting the parents in Cornwall so the parents couldn't make it. Another sis and her family are on holiday in Lanzarote. His younger brother is working in London. And his two other sisters are in London and Bristol. Poor boy. As for uni, well, it's doing alright I suppose. I am so SICK of it! Ugh! But on e more semester then that's it! I always remind myself that everytime I think about the dreaded uni. I have also been into sewing again! I will show you some of them later. Pssst! SUZIE! What do you want for your birthday?
