myzephyr's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Aug-Sept 2008
Date: Monday, Jan. 26, 2009
Time:10:24 p.m.

OK, in August, according to my organizer, the following events took place:

1. Met up with friends blah di blah.

2. Attended a friend's wedding! She was an hour late hehehe so they didn't get married till 3 hours later. We just hung around in a nearby pub but afterwards there was a party at her house and they did Carribean food! L-o-v-e-l-y.

3. We officially had Flash! He was such a cutie. Had no problems being separated from his family and was very curious of our home. Hubby took a week off just to spend time with him.

4. Went to Ma*lay*sia for Raya! But I'll do that in the next entry (I'm tired already)

Jun-Jul 2008
Date: Monday, Jan. 26, 2009
Time:9:31 p.m.

OK I have EIGHT months worth of stuff to let you know! I'm sorry diary for neglecting but work has been very hectic and I have also started my ACCA exams. I shall do a quick update month by month so expect a few entries from me. The last one will be about me attending a NKOTB concert! I KNOW!

June-July 2008.

1. We started a little monthly games night with one of Hubby's sisters and her two pre teen boys. Although as of Jan 08, we haven't had it for 2 months now *sniffs*

2. Watched 39 Steps for the second time at the theatre. The first time was a couple of years ago when they hadn't gone on West End yet. This time they have but even with a bigger budget, the first one was still the best. Managed to persuade I*va*na and her bf to see it and they loved it.

3. Went to Corn*wall to visit parents-in-law:
- visited a lovely stream area

- smelled the flowers

- skimmed pebbles at the beach

4. As for the house, the dressing room is sort of done. I've my desk with 3 sewing machines and two shelves above the desk with rattan boxes filled with my sewing goodies. Next to it is a big wardrobe of my fabrics. Opposite wall now has my Ikea wardrobe with all my clothes and shoes. It's great :-D

We are also finished with the living room. We've got a flat screen tv, internet radio and a micro system which also does dvd. We even put a glass framed door and also glass kitchen door in the hallway.

Next up are the kitchen and *fingers crossed* the bathroom.

5. Had lunch with a friend who got made redundant grrrr. I have stopped donating to this place because of that. They were clearly not having money problems, they just didn't like her. Idiots. Anyway, she's got a job now and seems happier so I'm happy.

6. Went to Cow*ley Rd Car*ni*val. Missed seeing my nephew's band playing grrr. But there were tons of food and Hubby found a new Italian dessert he's addicted to now.

7. Met the kittens belonging to the sister of my work colleague (their family happen to be Hubby's family friends)! There were four of them and we got one. His name is Flash, ginger, male and has a great attitude. He's 7 months as of Jan08...awww. This is him, now and then:

House stuff
Date: Monday, Jun. 23, 2008
Time:2:02 p.m.

I am officially a homeowner!! :-D Feels a bit anti-climatic as everywhere house prices are going down and I've been living in this house for almost 10 years so it's nothing like moving into a new home lol.

But I have bought out my bro-in-law (who initially bought the house with Hubby) and he has moved out of his room. There are still a few things left but they are in a box, ready for him to take away :-P

So I have a big project of turning his room (which is just less than a metre away from ours) into a sewing room and a walk-in-wardrobe for moi! Hubby keeps teasing me how he only gets a cupboard to store his stuff whereareas I have a whole room but after moving all my sewing stuff from the living room, he can now reign as he please in there :-P

I was busy in the weekend moving most of my fabrics into its new room but I am dismayed at the amount I have to store! Must start making clothes out of them!! Things to do:
1. Move remaining fabrics from living room into sewing room
2. Paint two walls light blue
3. Put up three shelves for my rattan boxes (filled with sewing patterns!)
4. Rearrange stuff around the room

We have also rejigged the living room a bit and have finally ordered two sofas from Ikea! For a very long time all we've had is a single bed acting as a sofa and random chairs here and there. With the sewing desk and stuff moved from it, it is now sparse... But hopefully the sofas would fill the room up a lot and we will also get a big tv as a treat :-P

And after the sewing and living area are sorted, I will move on to designing my walk-in-wardrobe space :-D

Photos to follow soon :-D

I've missed May!
Date: Tuesday, Jun. 03, 2008
Time:8:29 p.m.

OK I'm so sorry for not updating this any sooner...it's just that I haven't had the motivation to do it. But I'd figure after 8 weeks, I should have something to write about :-P

I'll update this entry with pics later.

Let's see...

1. We had snow! Managed to build a snowman and the poor guy lasted for a week!
Snowman a week later!

2. Hubby had a car accident! It was hardly a collision but it was his first accident so it shook him a little, awww. The car was almost a write-off too! But after £600ish it is all better again. I must send a thank you card to the nice Mr. Mechanic.

3. My ACCA application has finally gone through so I shall start studying for my first 3 papers very soon *bites finger nails*

4. We got new fencing at the back garden! Boring I know but it was a big job for us :-P I just wished hadn't painted it light wood...would mess up my slowly-to-be minimalistic asian garden lol

5. We went to Vienna two weekends ago! Felt the three days weren't enough so must go back again.
Hubby having lunch

Me in front of the Parliament

On a horsedrawn carriage tour of the city

6. Went to see an old friend in Lon*don and had great sushi session and a spot of shopping. Got meself a brown-ish formal shorts (for those hot days at work), red leopard print shrug (can't get enough of red), funky black suede and metal necklace, a white/silver summer scarf and faux tan leather handbag.

I've been binge shopping late :-( Apart from above, I've also bought a dress (to wear with turtleneck underneath and long boots), green sandals, electric blue skirt, dark yellow top, two overshirt knit vests...and many more. Help!

7. Got my sis hooked on Face*book :-p It's for my benefit really, it's easier to get in touch that way.

8. An overpriced sushi place, Yo Su*shi! and Ja*mie O*li*ver's cafe have opened in Ox*ford. It was Hubby's first time and although the sushis were ok, he'd like to go back again. Success! Jamie's hasn't opened yet...can't wait. Lots of people have spotted him on the street...grrr. When's my turn going to be? I want to see if he really has gained that much weight lol

9. Work has been ok...a bit frustrating. Doesn't help that my boss is always stressed. I'm still learning, but my boss said that I should get paid more the more I progress in my studies...we shall see. It is all just words, at the of the day.

10. Went to Bris*tol for sis-in-law's birthday tea. The weather was rubbish but it was a nice drive and great to see everyone.

11. Went to see Mer*chant of Ve*nice play with a friend as the heroine! Had never seen a show with someone I knew in it! It was great...I couldn't stop smiling in pride every time she was on stage. :-D

Birthday, surprise and other stuff in March
Date: Sunday, Apr. 06, 2008
Time:9:00 p.m.

I'm finding it harder and harder to update this diary :-( I seem to be too tired or lazy to update it after work...

Anyway, a few things happened in March. Well, there was Easter holiday where we had a four-day weekend which was supposed to be great but the weather was so bad (i.e. wet) we hardly went out :-( But Hubby's been doing a bit of work to the loft.

But Hubby did win a basket full of chocolate eggs when he bought raffle tickets from the vet. Oh yes, he took our cat there because she wasn't eating. Found out that it was due to her having major vomiting after eating food she didn't like the taste of which made her scared to eat...awww.

Another event that happened was our 8th wedding anniversary. It happened during the Easter holiday and we went to a chinese restaurant for a lovely meal. Unfortunately our favourite dish has changed!!! We were absolutely gutted :-( Here's a bouquet of flowers Hubby had given me.

There was a lovely surprise from my friend, a Nicaraguan, Fran*cys who moved to Mexico almost two years ago. She was here for two weeks for accompanying her hubby for work.

Unfortunately, I was only able to see her twice due to other commitments :-( I was speechless when I first saw her as I found that she's five months pregnant!! I couldn't believe that the whole time we've been chatting online since she moved to Mexico, she hadn't mentioned a single thing about it! Well, I'm so pleased for her... it was a wonderful surprise.

Oh, there was also my birthday. I finally turned 30 :-( Not sure how I feel about it. But I got tons of pressies! :-D In-laws gave me sewing books, heated eyelash curler (it does work), a jar of bubblegum, skinny trousers, green top, socks, chocolates, a book and a scented candle. Hubby got me games, sewing storage, body scrub, a sticker and magnet maker, dvds, cute cutlery for work lunch, a novel, bento box (!!!) and recipe book for it and a horseriding lesson!!

I've always wanted to get on a horse so took a Friday morning off to do it. The horse I was on was called Jus*tin and he was so beautiful. I only learnt how to start and stop but enjoyed it so much I want to do it again. *swoons*

Hubby threw me a family birthday tea and he made me a hedgehog cake!!! It also had baby hedgehogs!! They were delish!

I decided that on my birthday that I would do nothing but EAT!! So for breakfast, we had McDonalds, lunch at a chinese cafe and Thai for dinner! Thai pic here:

We also went to the cinema and watched The Or*pha*nage! You must see this at the cinema as it was pretty spooky! There loads of teenage girls in the cinema so there were loads of screamings . It was great! :-D Go and watch it!

My birthday was on Saturday but took the following Monday so I could have a long birthday weekend and wanted to go to London on Monday. Unfortunately, we woke up late and when we went to the Park & Ride, there was no parking for us!! On a Monday morning?! It was ridicilous. By the time we stopped searching for a space, it was really too late to have a day out in London. I was so gutted I cried :-P But hopefully next weekend, we will go to London *fingers crossed*

This weekend was filled with family birthday teas. Yesterday (Sat) was one of the sis-in-laws so after lunch and shopping for her presents, we went to her house for some tea. We got her some cabinet knobs for her new wardrobe, a gardening book on allotments and a card game. Today was one of our nephew's and we had chili for lunch and played this cool game called Mafia! We gave him a desktop pencil sharpener and for a seven-year-old, he went beserk and almost finished off sharpening a long pencil! Also got him a DS game and some tidbits.

Tomorrow is work time but can't wait for the weekend again!

xx

Ballet, House-buying, etc
Date: Monday, Mar. 17, 2008
Time:10:40 p.m.

Last week we went to see another ballet!

They were free tickets as well :-P It was All That Jazz by the Bir*ming*ham Ro*yal Bal*let and I loved it! There three 'shows' in all, the first was a normal dance, then an Orpheus, and finally a Shakespeare. I think the reason why we enjoyed it was because it wasn't full-on ballet as it was mixed with some jive and humour and they were dancing to a jazz band. *Sigh* I want to see it again.

Apart from that, nothing much has happened since I last wrote. Oh, Hubby's mom was here so she spent the night at our place. Made enchiladas and watch a boring movie (not worth a mention here!).

Also, we have been busy sorting out my buying out Hubby's brother from the house ownership. Yup, very soon I will officially be a homeowner (currently the house we live in is co-owned by Hubby and his brother but he wants out).

When it's done, I can't wait to do the house up! Have never been in the mood for it even though Hubby co-owns it because we always thought we would sell it and move to a new house. But we're fine with it for now.

Bro-in-law's room will turn into my sewing room (!!) AND walk-in closet since it's next door to ours. If we have time, we may join it up with our room. The living room will then be free of my sewing stuff so I can add more furniture there. I also want to remove the breakfast bar and have a big-arse fridge instead. Argh, there's so much to do to the house it's doing my head in...

Oh I made a booboo the other week. A friend of mine kindly came over to Ox*ford to see me on Monday. We had a lovely Thai dinner and lots of coffee. I think she was over here to persuade me to go to her 30th birthday party in London on Saturday. If you know me, then you will know that I'm not a sociable person anymore since being married. :-P Hubby has managed to turn me into a hermit so I was dreading this (especially since I found out that I would not know anyone there!!).

I didn't go in the end, not because I chickened out but because our windscreen wiper stopped working that day and it was predicted that it would rain that night. So I had to cancel but somehow I feel that I should have made more efforts to try and make for it, especially since she drove for 2.5 hours to see me on Monday. But I wasn't prepared to pay up to £80 for train tickets and buses would have taken us 3 hours to get there and the party didn't start till 9:30pm. I promised her I would see her this weekend so I hope she isn't upset!!

Hmm, what else. Oooh, one of my sister-in-laws' husband bought a 40-year old Tri*umph He*rald convertible! I've never been in such an old car and he kindly took us for a drive in it. The weather was windy so my hair was pretty messed up! Here are some pics (and other random ones):

Hubby's birthday
Date: Friday, Feb. 22, 2008
Time:2:43 p.m.

This is very annoying: I am ill, AGAIN! I'm down with a cold since Wednesay afternoon :-(

Anyway, I threw Hubby a birthday tea on Sunday. Almost everyone in his family was here. I made finger sandwiches, veg dips, pizzas, quiche, and barbequed chicken pieces. Hubby received many gifts from his family: Dr Who toys, chocolates, books and a funny cookie jar.

We made an unusual birthday cake: a pool cake!

It was our second attempt. The first one was a disaster as the cake crumbled into pieces hehehe. Basically it is made of two sponge cakes, the top one with the middle scooped out. We fill the 'hole' with blue-ish jelly and painted the jelly babies. Don't know if you can see it but there is a Santa on holiday in the pool :-P

I gave him a ton of stuff: vintage Coke yoyo, electrolysis kit, Soft Cell live concert dvd, 5000 pieces jigsaw puzzle, potato bag, lock-picking tools, 8gb flash drive, t-shirt with Spectrum pic and some socks. Also got a box of chocolates delivered to his work on his birthday.

Aww my baby is now 34!!!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other stuff in Jan08
Date: Saturday, Feb. 02, 2008
Time:9:52 p.m.

Can't believe January has gone by so quickly. I remember dreading the month as it was going to be another 6 weeks before I get my pay since Xmas lol.

Anyway...

Thanks to a work colleague who works part-time at a theatre, we got to see the Nut*cracker ballet for free!

It was my first ballet and definitely won't be the last. Although I understand why some people think ballet is boring...the ones I would go to would need to be as colourful as Nut*cracker, if not I would surely go to sleep :-P

Mmmm what else? Went over to sis-in-law's place for dinner and played Taboo for the first time. I liked it a lot although found it a bit hard as I'm not very good with English, really.

Oooh, Hubby had a flat tire recently on the way to pick me up from work! Had to call the AA as he didn't know how to replace it lol. It took over an hour before the AA guy arrived but it wasn't a problem for us as we used to the time to chat and I even had time to walk to a nearby chinese takeway to buy our dinner. The sad thing is, when we took the car later to a workshop to get new tyres, we had to pay almost £200 as the mechanic there found a fault with the breakpads. Boohoo.

I've been sewing lately which is great! Well, mostly just re-doing my wardrobe :-P I made one top from scratch, cropped a sweater (to wear with a shirt underneath), shortened a sleeveless shirt and a top and tonight I may re-hem a blue top which I previously added length to the sleeves (I HATE cap sleeves...they should be banned).

That's all for now. Here's me at a Thai restaurant:

And bought this book for a pound at a market whilst waiting for my work colleagues for lunch! What a lame title!

Brothers Grimm
Date: Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008
Time:10:59 p.m.

This week was busy at work! But I think I handled it pretty good although had to bring a bit of work home. Oh well.

A few things happened this week. One of them was my quarterly haircut. Didn't have anything special done, just the usual. Don't have to worry about it now until three months time. Although the hair mask my sis-in-law left in our bathroom when she was here for Xmas has motivated me to start using deep hair mask every week. Finally, I've found an excuse to use up the tens of disposal shower caps I collected from our stays at hotels.

Which hair mask should I use?

On Thursday evening, we went to see Creation Theatre's Brothers Grimm play in their lovely, antique round mirror tent. Personally, I thought their last play was so much better than this. But I was VERY tired from work when watching it so maybe I didn't really pay too much attention, I don't know. Too much of silly jokes of 'I'm a method actor you know, I can't believe I have to do this act'...you don't have to pretend that you're saying that for real. We know it's part of the act! Argh.

Anyway, we got the best seats for it but found the typical wooden chair a bit uncomfortable for sitting almost non-stop for 2 hours. But we got complimentary drinks, a poster and a program AND two £5 ticket vouchers for their next play which is pretty good.

We've been cooking quite a bit this week. Hubby had the afternoon off on Friday so he made roast dinner and used some of the organic vegetables he got from A*bel & Co*le. We had roast chicken, roast potatoes, parnips and onions, stuffing, brussels sprouts and carrots. Yumm! I even made gravy from scratch! :-D

Yesterday, I made us baked salmon (wrapped in foil) with hollandaise sauce, asparagus and potatoes. Did you know that your wee smells strongly of asparagus after you eat it? The effect takes place pretty instant :-P Try it!

We were supposed to have sausages with mashed potatoes and celeriac today but Hubby's brother was here plus there was a birthday tea for their nephew. We just gave him some money and play Buzz game on PS2.

Sometimes I think the weekend isn't enough. Can't believe it's time to go back to work tomorrow *sighs*

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Xmas 2007
Date: Tuesday, Jan. 08, 2008
Time:9:36 p.m.

Boy, can't believe it's taken me this long to write about my Christmas! It was great! I hated the shopping, crowded city centre and cleaning the house. But I loved eating great food and getting presents! :-D

I had 12 days off thanks to working at the University. We had the parents-in-law and sis-in-law and her boyfriend over at our place. The father made all the food, I just cleaned up after him!

I thought we prepared quite well. We even got round to putting up a rope light on our hibiscus tree at the back. You can see it from the big kitchen window.

So the day started off with me and Hubby exchanging presents! We woke up early for that hehehe. Then we hung around the house while the father was cooking the food. I helped a bit by cutting some vegetables :-P Hubby spent time playing SingStar and Guitar Hero with the others (I joined it once in a while...couldn't help myself!).

The lunch was great. There were two roast chicken, potatoes, parsnips, brussels sprouts, mashed swede, red & yellow peppers, yorkshire puddings, stuffing and gravy...mmmm...I want some now! :-P

After that, we went to one of the sisters' place and gave the kids their presents. It went on till early evening and the rest of the night was spent sleeping! We were knackered!

I gave Hubby a dvd boxset of Monkey!, cordless phones he wanted for the house, a shirt, some socks, a little silly toy (penguin that poos chocolates), Discworld paperbacks, a card game, and a subscription to a delivery of organic fruit and veg for every other week! In fact, he got his first delivery today!

He gave me Benefit makeup, a red brolly , a Janet Jackson music video dvd (!!!), a dvd, a novel, some skull plasters, shower gloves, Hello Kitty sticker dispenser, Ipod Shuffle, a PS2 Singstar, silver scarf, and novelty tweezers (he must have noticed that I pluck my eyebrows too much!).

We got cool stuff from his family: a rocking snowman, how to waltz book and cd, playing cards, jumper, scanner-printer, a cross stitch kit, a compact mirror with a cross stitch kit, baking dishes, a book, a reaction game, and LOTS of chocolates.

New Year was non-existent as always. Worse, I fell ill :-( I was so smug last month as everyone around me was falling ill except me. I think I've *just* recovered...finally!

But apart from Xmas and Boxing Day, we spent most of our days off bumming around the house and going to Ikea :-P

Anyway, here are a few pictures:

Xmas eve
Date: Monday, Dec. 24, 2007
Time:6:40 p.m.

It's Xmas eve! The parents-in-laws are here together with Hubby's youngest sis and her boyfriend. The house is unusually warm grrrr. I'm boiling.

The tree is up and I've wrapped all the presents. Can't wait for tomorrow morning!

I've been in my job for more than two months now. Still going back and forth between two offices *sighs* Had Xmas lunch dos and Xmas dinner for work which went nicely. Got a lantern with some port and chocolates stuffed inside it and a set of handwash and hand lotion from my secret santas.

This week I was busy cleaning the house...boy was it dirty! We should really clean it more often lol. FINALLY deep cleaned the carpet upstairs using a hired wet vacuum cleaner.

I'm pleased with the result although probably needs another run.

We usually go on a short city break just before Xmas but left it too late so will head off to Barcelona in January instead. Wanted to have a spa day with Hubby post-Xmas but everywhere is fully booked :-(

New job
Date: Friday, Nov. 23, 2007
Time:4:20 p.m.

This week marks the 4th week I've been in my new job. I don't know what to say about it. Sometimes I'm excited about it, other times I feel despair and lost.

The problem boils down to two things: location and my boss.

I am based at two offices, although mainly in one near my previous workplace. It's good because it means I'm in an area I'm used to and it's a shorter distance from home. But I'm not based where my boss and my department are! Which makes it really hard for me to learn things quickly.

Secondly, my boss who I respect and genuinely like, is too busy to sort out my job. He actually apologised for his lack of staff management this week to me and I'm so glad he said it as it's so true.

Anyway, I am learning things but slower that it should have been. I'm just looking forward to start my ACCA soon (fingers crossed my boss would let me!).

But all in all, it hasn't been too bad. I finish earlier than the last job. I don't bring work home (not yet lol). And the facilities are better although I hate all the security clearance that I have to go through each time I go into the building.

Anyway, enough about my job. Christmas season is here. This means work-dos (2 lunches and 2 dinners), secret santas (3) and buying pressies for friends and families (too many to count!). We have to be careful this time with money as we are also planning to go to Brussels, Belgium just before Xmas. We thought of going to Barcelona, Spain but we're quite sick of airports and planes now! Brussels will only require us to board the Eurostar.

Took some photos but will upload them soon after we get back from Cornwall.

Malaysia Oct 2007
Date: Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007
Time:3:02 p.m.

OK so we've been back in Oxford for a week from our Malaysian trip. It was great! Although I wished I could have met more of my friends.

Raya was great but was gutted that I didn't take any photos and missed a trip to see my dad's father in Grik :-( Next raya, I hope. But I ate tons of satay, nasi himpit, rendang and lots of kuih :-P

Being there during the fasting month wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. No one looked at me weirdly when I hung out at cafes in the daylight. Maybe people have got more relaxed there?

We stayed in KL at Shangri-la for the first few nights. I don't think I would go back there again...it wasn't any better than Concorde which is one star less than Shangri-la.

When we were in Ipoh, we spent much of the time helping my mom getting ready for Eid, last minute! So went kuih raya-shopping, baju raya-shopping (Hubby and I wore matching colour!) and other stuff.

Straight after Eid we went to Langkawi Island. I would definitely be back there again, although it felt quite commercialla. Reminded me of New Quay :-P Edit: I can't believe I forgot about this but Hubby, sis and I had a nice spa session there! It was somewhere in the padi fields :-P I had the body scrub, Hubby had a massage (he said he will never have one again as felt uncomfortable having another person's hands (ie not mine) on his back lol) and my sis a facial, manicure (the girl cut off a wee bit of her thumb skin and she wasn't pleased!) and pedicure. I had a blast although the air-con was a bit too much for me, just covered in batik!

After Langkawi, we spent the rest of the holiday in KL and stayed at Meridien. I think next time we will stay at Shangri-la Traders pulak. Anyway, some pics:

Oh I bought these shoes yesterday :-P

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another new beginning
Date: Monday, Sept. 24, 2007
Time:10:53 p.m.

I started off last week by slipping and falling flat on my bum in the city center during lunchtime, hurting my right foot real bad!! The first night was horrid, I was so much in pain I almost went to the A&E. But thanks to a work colleague (who plays hockey regularly and have had more injuries than me and so isn't a wuss) who suggested Ar*ni*ca, it is almost healed. But I'm still slightly limping.

We had another long weekend this week. We had the Friday afternoon off so we could go to Corn*wall early.

So we were there for the weekend. Had lovely homemade dinners, made by the dad-in-law. The mom-in-law was feeling better this week so got to spend lots of time with her. Went to Pads*tow for some Rick Stein's pasties (half-priced and yummy!) and to the Watergate Bay where we watched zapcat boat races. Looked scary, what with the big waves and all.

Got back to Ox*ford last night and today was another day off! We just hung out in town; had lunch and did a little shopping. In the evening, we realised that today is our seven and half-year wedding anniversary!! So went out again and had a lovely dinner at Ba*gi*cha. It's in the North Ox*ford area, where I used to live so showed Hubby where I lived, etc.

Anyway, something major's happened recently, work wise. I got a new job. It's Fi*nance Of*fi*cer at a department at the University. The money's the same AND I get to do my ACCA qualification!!

So tomorrow I will have to hand in my notice :-( I've never had to do it before. Only found out how to write a notice/resignation letter a minute ago. I hope the boss will be in a good mood...I'm a bit concerned as I will be away most of the next month (and my notice is a month!)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Long weekend
Date: Monday, Sept. 17, 2007
Time:8:13 p.m.

This weekend was a long one, as we took today (Monday) off. On Saturday we went to Cots*wold Wild*life Pa*rk. I really enjoyed seeing all the animals, especially the meerkats...they are soooooo cute! I navigated us there using a map and am quite proud of it as I'm normally bad with directions! :-D

Yesterday, we planned to do some walking near the White*horse but once we got there, we realised that we might finish when it's dark and that's not something we want to do. So had an ice cream and then left! I'm a bit gutted though as miss doing long walks.

Today, we went to Bi*cester Shop*ping Vill*age and bought gorgoues Di*or leather with silver studs gloves! Cost a bomb but I love them. After that, we ate some Mexican food here.

Anyhoo, here are some images from a walk we did nearby here, Shot*over, and of the animal park.
